1. Who owns what

Every beat, every sample and every MIDI file on this site was produced by Laruny Music, who is their author and owner. Buying a licence gives you the right to use the work in the way your licence describes. It does not transfer authorship, and — unless you buy Exclusive Rights — it does not transfer ownership.

The name Laruny, the logo and the artwork on this site belong to Laruny Music and may not be used without written permission.

2. About "type beats"

A title such as "Burna Boy Type Beat" describes a style. It is a genre label, the way "80s synthwave" is. It does not mean the artist named was involved, endorsed the beat, or has any connection to it. Every instrumental here is an original composition produced from scratch by Laruny. No artist name is used to suggest a partnership that does not exist.

3. Your song, your master

The recording you make over the beat is yours. Your vocals, your lyrics, your performance — I claim nothing over them, and I never register your song in Content ID.

What the licence governs is the instrumental underneath, and how far you may exploit it. Under the Unlimited licence, 100% of the master royalties on your recording are yours.

4. Reporting piracy

If you find beats or packs from this store being resold, shared on a file-hosting site, or distributed in a pack that is not mine, please tell me at contacto@laruny.com. Piracy is what makes producers raise prices on everybody else, and I would rather keep them where they are.
